Quality of Life

Living the good life

One point on which we all agree, is the extraordinary quality of life that Saguenay provides for its citizens. An urban city in proximity to nature that can compete with the larger city centres. It's lively, cultural, savant and flourishing. Free of heavy traffic!

Saguenay, 100% cultural

Renowned throughout the province and even across the globe, Saguenay's cultural vitality is no myth. Throughout the year, culture is infused through popular and niche festivals, some of which shine on the international level.

All this in addition to theatres (7 in all), a symphony orchestra, cultural venues, museums and a network of public libraries - presenting the reasons why it was named the Cultural Capital of Canada in 2010.
